Thinking of Mom/Grandma today. It has been 8 years. She knew all those young adults who were lost on 9/11 needed a wonderful grandma (our's) in heaven. Enjoy great memories of her today. XOXO
Most of my memories are of how Grandma felt... her cheek, her hands, her hair....... her strong, secure, tight, all encompassing hugs. She has passed her legacy of love to her beautiful children.I feel blessed by God to be a recipient of that searing, searching love that makes us all feel as if we are very special. Thank you !
I know what you mean. Once many years ago, Judy Don said that she didn't know how Grandma managed to have all those children and spoil them all! Grandma also said one time,"I guess you aren't anything if you aren't a little spoiled." When we were there we were the center of her world. She treated us with love and respect. The respect part is key.
